A healthy and delicious treat to feed your sugary cravings
Servings: 10

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup Gluten-free flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • tsp Baking powder
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • ½ cup Unsalter butter Softened to room temperature
  • ½ cup Brown sugar
  • ¼ cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 Large egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup Chocolate chips Dark or semi-sweet

Method

  1. Preheat the over: Turn on the oven to 350° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Or you can simply butter the pan to prevent the cookies from sticking.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the oats, flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Mix the wet ingredients: In another bowl, using a hand-mixer, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy, which is about 203 minutes. Next, add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until wel combined.
  4. Combine ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mxture, careful not to over-mix. Fold in the chocolate chips and mix them until combined.
  5. Add your cookies: Scoop the dough into a tablespoon-sized ball and place them onto the baking sheet. Be sure to keep them 2-inches apart. Bake for 11-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  6. Cool down: After they are done, let the cookies rest for about five minutes before removing them to a wire rack to cool completely.
