Ingredients
Method
- Preheat the over: Turn on the oven to 350° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Or you can simply butter the pan to prevent the cookies from sticking.
- Mix the dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the oats, flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Mix the wet ingredients: In another bowl, using a hand-mixer, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy, which is about 203 minutes. Next, add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until wel combined.
- Combine ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mxture, careful not to over-mix. Fold in the chocolate chips and mix them until combined.
- Add your cookies: Scoop the dough into a tablespoon-sized ball and place them onto the baking sheet. Be sure to keep them 2-inches apart. Bake for 11-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Cool down: After they are done, let the cookies rest for about five minutes before removing them to a wire rack to cool completely.
