Eating nutritious foods is one of the simplest ways of staying physically and mentally healthy. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), “consuming unhealthy food and beverages, such as sugar-sweetened beverages and highly processed food, can lead to weight gain, obesity, and other chronic conditions that put people at higher risk of at least 13 types of cancer.”
I write food and nutrition articles to help people learn about the benefits of healthy eating and include recipes that are delicious and easy to make. Cooking healthy meals is much more satisfying than picking up a pizza or fast food on the way home from work, and will more than likely taste better. Plus, you won’t have such a heavy feeling after a meal as your body can digest natural foods more easily than processed foods.
