The Tragic Tale of Jacob Anderson and the Bride’s Creek Bridge
In the town of Bride’s Creek, evil never dies
This is the tragic tale of Jacob Anderson and his attempts at fixing a centuries-old mistake.
Blinded with religious fervor, Jacob convinces the dying town to help him build a church with the promise of “saving the community by bringing everyone closer to God!” They agree to help build his church, despite warnings that the land is cursed. He ignores the warning, and on opening day, the church collapses, killing his wife and dozens of townsfolk.
The tragedy unleashes an ancient soul-eater that was imprisoned on the island thousands of years ago by a powerful Medicine Woman who has guarded the prison ever since trapping it.
This collection of short stories centers on the town of Bride’s Creek and the evil that is slowly consuming it. Because Jacob is responsible for letting the evil escape, he is charged with keeping the evil from getting stronger and spreading its influence past the town.
