In the early 1920s, work is scarce and food is even scarcer. Henry travels from town to town, searching for work and sending what little money he makes to the family caring for his little brother. On a long, lonely road, feet screaming with every step, he stumbles upon a traveling freak show where he finds some work.
He meets a strange family of misfits and lost souls bound together by some strange magic. He meets a young woman who captures her heart and pulls him into a nightmare world that he may never escape.
