The open road is calling and California is the destination. This road trip is a long time coming and a lot cheaper than therapy. If you’ve never tried Road Therapy, I would suggest giving it a try.
I was fortunate enough to visit Lake Tahoe with my family many times while growing up and I try to get back as often as possible. I found a great campsite near the water at Zephyr Cove. The hillside camp site had a great view and very quiet.
Day One
I started my first morning floating on the lake. It was very peaceful before the motorboats and jetski’s started up.
In the afternoon I walked around town for awhile. I caught dinner at one of the casinos and ended the night watching Jack Joshon perform live outdoors at Harvey’s Casino Outdoor Arena.
Day Two
The next day I spent exploring and found Fallen Leaf Lake. Click here for a fun story of the liaise origins.
Later in the day, I hiked above Emerald Bay and that pretty much wiped me out!
